What about the evidence for evolution?
You see, because creation testifies that there is a God, they are without excuse. In fact, they willfully suppress the truth to believe the lies that man evolved over millions of years and life over billions of years!
The problem for evolutionists is that there is no evidence for what they believe and thus, they believe it by faith and thus, it is a religion and not faith. Now some of you may not agree with that, but listen to what Dr. T. N. Tahmisian wrote, “Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact.”
Malcolm Muggeridge, a world famous journalist and philosopher said this, “I myself am convinced that the theory of evolution, especially the extent to which it’s been applied, will be one of the great jokes in the history of books of the future. Posterity will marvel that so very flimsy and dubious an hypothesis could be accepted with the incredible credulity [gullibility] that it has.”
That is not too encouraging if you believe in evolution!
Listen to the following story and you will see what I mean that when you think about this theory of evolution, it is just plain foolish. We are told:
Many years ago Sir Isaac Newton had an exact replica of our solar system made in miniature. At its center was a large golden ball representing the sun, and revolving around it were small spheres attached at the ends of rods of varying lengths. They represented Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and the other planets. These were all geared together by cogs and belts to make them move around the “sun” in perfect harmony.
One day as Newton was studying the model, a friend who did not believe in the biblical account of creation stopped by for a visit. Marveling at the device and watching as the scientist made the heavenly bodies move on their orbits, the man exclaimed, “My, Newton, what an exquisite thing! Who made it for you?” Without looking up, Sir Isaac replied, “Nobody.” “Nobody?” his friend asked. “That's right! I said nobody! All of these balls and cogs and belts and gears just happened to come together, and wonder of wonders, by chance they began revolving in their set orbits and with perfect timing.”
The unbeliever got the message! It was foolish to suppose that the model merely happened. But it was even more senseless to accept the theory that the earth and the vast universe came into being by chance. How much more logical to believe what the Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” The Word also declares, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God”.

The last section we looked at evolution, the evidence, what evolutionists are saying about this theory and this morning, I want to focus on ape-men, fact or fiction. Before we do read Romans chapter 1, verses 18-32 and see how man is without excuse in denying that there is a Creator God!
ROMANS 1:18-32
Maybe 100 years ago or so you could say that the simple cell was simple, but today we know that it is more complex than we ever thought. And yet, people want to believe that life appeared spontaneously, no information, and all of a sudden there was information and that information, over billions of years kept gaining more and more information. That is ridiculous! And as we saw last week, it is beyond any mathematical probability that life just appeared, not even dealing with the variety of complex life forms we see today just evolving from that slim pool or whatever.
Scott Huse wrote this in regards to life just appearing:
Modern research by NASA has demonstrated that the most basic type of protein molecule that could be classified living is composed of at least 400 linked amino acids. Each amino acid, in turn, is made up of a specific arrangement of four or five chemical elements, and each chemical element is itself a unique combination of protons, neutrons, and electrons! Golay has demonstrated that the chance formation of even the simplest replicating protein molecule is 1 in 10450. Wyson has calculated the probability of forming the proteins and DNA for the smallest self-replicating entity to be 1 in 10167,626, even when granting astronomically generous amounts of time and reagents. Who can imagine what the chance formation of a more complex structure or organ such as the cerebral cortex in the human brain would be? It contains over 10,000,000,000 cells each of which is carefully arranged according to a specific design, and each of which is fantastically complex in itself!

Folks, anything over 1056 has a zero chance of probability. In other words, the theory of evolution is impossible! And yet we are told that this is not a theory, it is a fact! Paul was right, professing to be wise, they have become fools, or literally morons! It is important for you to understand that there is a God, and He created the heavens and the earth, period!
But let’s just say that this theory is possible, and it is not, but if it were, then there should be evidence for ape-men. Once again we are told that there is, you can go to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and see the evolution of man from ape to man! In fact, you can go to the museum in St. Louis, Missouri and you will see a depiction of the famous Lucy find and when you look at her, she is posed with her hand on the side of her face, looking like Paris Hilton only a lot harrier! She is walking upright, has long fingers, she looks just like us, except that she is full of hair! That is not science, that is science fiction, it is not real as we will see as we look at the evidence for these ape-men and I guess women! The reality is, Lucy was a boy! But that is another story. So let’s dig in and see what evidence there is for this evolution of man! Or what we might call, I am a monkey’s uncle!
We all have heard of the famous missing links. That is, those creatures that have evolved from apes to man. The only problem with these missing links is that they are still missing, as we will see, as we look at the different so-called “ape-men.”
Mark Twain wrote in regards to science, that they could get myriads of information from fragments of evidence. And as we study these “ape-men” you will see how true Mark Twain was in his statement. He puts it this way, “There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjectures out of such a trifling investment of facts.” So let’s begin with the oldest and move forward and see what evidence there is.
RAMAPITHECUS
This missing link, Ramapithecus, is said to be 12 to 14 million years old. Its name comes from two words. Rama, which is the name of a Hindu god, and Pithecus, which means ape.
G. E. Lewis, in 1932, found in the Siwalik Hills in northwest India a small piece of jawbone. From this 2-inch piece of jawbone we can derive this creature's height, posture, length of limbs, shape of head and even the amount of body hair, or so they say. Some time after the first discovery a few teeth and small pieces of jawbone were found.
There is a big problem here. That problem is that, “Bones say nothing about the fleshy parts of the nose, lips or ears. Artists must create something between an ape and a human being; the older the specimen is said to be, the more apelike they make it.”
Even with the discovery in the 1970's of complete jaws, by Andrews, Walker, Leaky and Pilbeam, it still didn't show us that Ramapithecus was the missing link between ape and man. The complete jaws they found were u-shaped, therefore belonging to an ape, and not egg-shaped, which would be a human jaw.
Therefore, trying to reconstruct Ramapithecus just from the few teeth and jawbones we have, places it on the biased ideas of the men working on reconstructing this creature. It is nothing more than mere speculation and not based on facts.
“In his book, the evolution of man, published in 1970, Pilbeam had warned: `Locomotion, like body size, cannot be inferred without some post cranial bones. It would be unwise to speculate about Ramapithecus's locomotion from a knowledge solely of its jaws and teeth!' Yet, as he admitted in his 1984 article, he had come to believe that Ramapithecus walked bipedally solely on the basis of fragments of the jaws and teeth and had publicly proclaimed it.”
There is even more evidence, which tells us that Ramapithecus, is not on its way to becoming a man. “Eckhardt's conclusion is that Ramapithecus seems to have been an apemorphologically, ecologically, and behaviorally.” Something I learned in school a long time ago, and this is a modified version of it. If it walks like an ape, looks like an ape, then it is an ape!
On page 36 of Science Digest, April 1981, we read, “A reinterpretation of . . . (this) . . . jaw . . . now suggests that Ramapithecus was an ancestor of neither modern humans or modern apes. Instead Pilbeam (himself) thinks it represents a third lineage that has no living descendants.”
And “In Biology Today and Tomorrow, printed in 1980 by West Publishing, Ramapithecus (a supposed ‘missing link’) is touted as a known ancestor of man. Yet in 1979 the scientific community disavowed Ramapithecus, when it found that it was actually an extinct orangutan.”
So this creature is going nowhere in regards to evolving into man and, as we have said, it is just an extinct orangutan. The sad thing is that in our schools today, Ramapithecus is still being introduced as one of our ancestors!
RAMAPITHECUS IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING HUMAN. HE IS AN EXTINCT ORANGUTAN! SO RAMAPITHECUS CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
AUSTRALOPITHECUS
This missing link, Australopithecus, is said to be between 1 and 4 million years old. Its name comes from two words. Australo, which means southern, and Pithecus, which means ape. This southern ape was believed to have evolved from Ramapithecus. We have already stated that Ramapithecus is an evolutionary dead end. Regardless, lets see where Australopithecus takes us.
The Australoptihecines are basically placed in three branches. They are Australopithecus Africanus (southern ape from Africa), Australopithecus Robustus and Australopithecus Afarensis from which the famous “Lucy” skeleton comes from.
A. AUSTRALOPITHECUS AFRICANUS
Raymond Dart, in 1924, found an ape's skull in a limestone quarry at Taung, South Africa. This creature is somewhat smaller than the Robustus creature. This is nothing more than a gorilla or chimpanzee and is an evolutionary dead end. We will discuss more in detail, at the end of this section, on how Australopithecus is not our ancestor.
B. AUSTRALOPITHECUS ROBUSTUS
This is a larger and stockier form of Africanus. Mary Leaky discovered what they called Zinjanthropus Bosei (East Africa man) at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania. This is nothing more than what is now called Australopithecus Bosei, which is most likely a sub-species of Australopithecus Robustus. Again, the findings are very similar to gorillas and orangutans.
C. AUSTRALOPITHECUS AFARENSIS
The most famous of these findings was by D. Johanson in Ethiopia between 1972- 1977. The name of his find was called “Lucy” after the Beatles song. D. Johanson found a 40% complete skeleton. It was suppose to be the oldest human ancestor at 3 million years.
In speaking of his find called “Lucy”, Donald Johanson said this at a press conference in Addis Ababa, October 25, 1974. “These specimens clearly exhibit traits which must be considered as indicative of the Genus Homo. Taken together, they represent the most complete remains of this Genus from anywhere in the world at a very ancient time. All previous theories of the origin of the lineage which leads to modern man must now be totally revised. We must throw out many theories and consider the possibility that man's origins go back to well over four million years.”
What did Johanson find that caused such an uproar and rethinking of man's evolution? He found teeth that are characteristic of ape’s teeth. A skull, which shows apelike, cranial features. A knee joint, which bends like our knee joints. Her left pelvic bone which shows she walked upright. A 40% complete skeleton was found.
So what we have is an upper part of the skeleton, which is very apelike, in fact, identical to that of a pigmy chimpanzee. The knee joint does appear to be truly human. Sounds like we have truly found the missing link, or have we?
The question you may want to ask Mr. Johanson is "How close to this ape skeleton was this knee joint found?" A good question which was asked on November 20, 1986 at the University of Missouri. But Mr. Johanson was reluctant to answer the question, but the students kept pressing him. He finally said that the knee joint was found 1 1/2 miles away and over 200 feet lower in the ground than the apelike skeleton that he joined it to. Now that is some reconstruction job, or maybe it is just a snow job, but it is very doubtful that they should be put together.
Dr. John D. Morris Ph.D. says this, “‘Lucy’, in particular, were not ape human intermediates, but rather, an extinct species of ape which probably spent most of its time in the trees . . . Everyone agrees that from the neck up, ‘Lucy’ was gorilla like. Her brain size was about one fourth the size of a human brain; her jaw was ‘U’ shaped, typical of gorillas; her teeth were large, far larger than these in humans. From the neck down, nearly every feature was likewise nonhuman. Australopithecus fossils, including those which are thought to be much more recent and therefore, should be more humanlike, have long, curved fingers and long, curved toes well adapted to swinging from tree limb to tree limb. The features which; suggest upright posture to Johanson are primarily the hip and knee joints, but numerous studies on the hip have shown otherwise . . . Johanson seldom reminds us that he found the knee joint the strongest evidence for upright stance in a location some two to three kilometers away, and in a layer of rock some 200 feet lower.
Clearly, the knee does not belong with the rest . . . Several investigators, including Richard Leaky, have concluded that two or perhaps three species have been wrongly combined in ‘Lucy’.”
So “Lucy” is not an apeman but mostly the skeleton of an ape, except for the knee joint that was found, which was fully human and does not fit with the rest of the skeleton. And thus, all we have is the upper part of a pigmy chimpanzee and a human knee joint.
Speaking of Australopithecus in general, Richard Leaky, in his book Origins, has removed them from the chart leading to Homo Sapiens and he has placed them in a totally separate lineage.
Dr. Charles Oxnard, director of graduate studies and Professor of Anatomy at the University of Southern California Medical School, concluded in this manner in regards to Australopithecus. He said, “ . . . Most of the fossil fragments are in fact uniquely different from both man and man's nearest living genetic relatives, the chimpanzee and gorilla. To the extent that resemblances exist with living forms, they tend to be with the orangutan . . . Finally, the quite independent information from the fossil finds of more recent years seems to indicate absolutely that these Australopithecines, of half to two million years and from sites such as Olduvai and Sterkfonteen, are not on a human pathway.”
Again, this creature, Australopithecus is not evolving into man. This is nothing more than an orangutan or, in the case of “Lucy”, the upper part of the skeleton was probably a pigmy chimpanzee and the knee joint, which was found miles away and over 200 feet deeper than the rest of the skeleton, was fully human and not belonging to the rest of the skeleton.
AUSTRALOPITHECUS IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING HUMAN. SO, LIKE RAMAPITHECUS, HE TOO CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
JAVA MAN: ITHECANTHROPUS ERECTUS - ERECT APEMAN
This missing link, Java Man, was found to be the distant relative to Juan Valdez, the coffee bean guy! No, Java Man is said to be 500,000 years old. Eugene Dubois, a Dutch physician, found him in 1891. The location of this find was the South Pacific Island of Java.
What Eugene Dubois found was an apelike skullcap. A year later and 46 feet away from the first find, Dr. Dubois found a human leg bone and 2 molar teeth. So what we have is an ape skull, human leg bone, and thus an apeman creature that walked upright. We have found the missing link, or have we?
Over 30 years after this find, before his death, Dr. Dubois admitted that near the first find he also found 2 fully human skulls and 4 human leg bones. It seems that Dr. Dubois was concealing some of the evidence. In fact, he stated that what he found was nothing more than a giant gibbon or ape and not an apeman as he had first reported. It took over 30 years for the truth to come out.
This creature is not evolving to man. What Dr. Dubois had found was nothing more than a skullcap of an ape and a fully human leg bone. Dr. Gish has stated, “It is our opinion that some specimens attributed to Homo Erectus, such as Java Man and Peking man, are definitely from the ape family with no link of any kind to man.”
SO IF JAVA MAN IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING MAN, HE TOO CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
PEKING MAN : SINANTHROPUS PEKINENSIS - CHINESE MAN
Peking Man, another socalled missing link, is also about 500,000 years old. Beginning in 1921 and over a several year period, fragments of about 30 skulls, 11 mandibles, and 147 teeth were found. These were dug from a limestone hill some 25 miles from Peking, China called Choukoutien. All of the skulls were bashed in at the base and no lower body parts were said to be found.
Franz Weidenreich, around 1936, fashioned together what Peking Man looked like. And in 1937, a French scientist by the name of Marcellin Boule published reports that the findings were monkeylike.
Today it is very difficult to review the evidence on Peking man because sometime between 1941 and 1945 it all mysteriously disappeared, except for 2 teeth. The evidence has never been recovered. All we have is one plaster of paris model of the most complete skull. Lets examine the evidence or information that we do have on Peking Man.
1. 30 skulls with the base of the skull bashed in on all of them.
2. The skulls were small and triangular in shape and thus resembling the skulls of the great apes.
3. Found in a location which had an ash heap 23 feet deep from a furnace and the heat from that furnace was so hot that it melted and fused the rock around it.
4. Information that was not told to us is that 6 fully human skeletons were excavated from the same site.
The skulls that were found were nothing more than ape skulls. And in this part of the world people eat monkeys. The problem is, they don't eat monkey meat because it is so tough. What they would do after they caught the monkey was cut off its head, throw it in a pot of boiling water for a period of time, pull it out, bash in the skull and eat the brains. Even today this is done. They were the hunted, but who were the hunters?
It is also interesting how these apelike ancestors were able to rub two sticks together and produce a furnace with enough heat to melt and fuse the rock around it. This area was most likely used for quarrying limestone and in this ash heap was found the skulls of Peking Man or Sinanthropus.
Which leads us to the information that was held back. You see, apelike creatures did not make this furnace, man did! At this same site 6 fully human skeletons were found. Man not only made the furnace that was used in quarrying the limestone but he was also the hunter that dined on monkey brains. It was not Peking duck, but Peking monkey that was on the menu!
Boule and Vallois say that Peking Man hunted himself and ate the brains of his own people. “He was both the hunter and the hunted . . . To this hypothesis, other writers preferred the following, which seemed to them more in conformity with our whole body of knowledge: The hunter was man, whose stone industry has been found and who prayed upon Sinanthropus. . . We may therefore ask ourselves whether it is not over bold when he appears in the deposit only in the guise of a mere hunter's prey, on a par with the animals by which he is accompanied.”
So this creature was nothing more than a monkey whose brains served as man's meal. The human bones found at the site were just that, human.
PEKING MAN OR SINANTHROPUS PEKINENSIS IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING HUMAN. HE IS A MONKEY. SO PEKING MAN CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
CROMAGNON MAN
CroMagnon Man is said to be some 12,000 to 30,000 years old. Some skeletons of CroMagnon Man were found in Les Eyzies, France in 1868. And in Lascaux, France in 1940, in another cave, were found paintings of horses, bison and deer. The CroMagnon Man is essentially indistinguishable from modern Europeans except for the artist’s conception of what he looked like.
The cave drawings or paintings that CroMagnon Man drew have lasted, they say, some 30,000 years. That is pretty good for primitive man. And he painted himself with a trim beard, wearing a hat, suit, and very neat. Interesting for a primitive man to look like this instead of brutish looking, full of hair, unclean and uncivilized. He had knowledge of the movement of the heavenly bodies, recorded the movement of the moon, and had a high degree of social culture that has been concealed.
We read that “CroMagnon Man did not only live in caveshe seems to have built huts, made stone paving floors, constructed kilns and baked pottery. He used tools made of bone, flint, ivory, antler and probably wood. He had musical instruments (such as carved bone flutes). Wore jewelry, sewed clothing and seems definitely to have had rituals and ceremonies (at least we can infer religious activity). . . many of their works have been rated by such as the Encyclopedia Britannica (fifteenth edition, 5:291) as ‘Worthy of a place among the masterpieces of world art.’”
Even today we have people that have become isolated from the rest of the world and have become social and technological degenerates through generations, even to the point of living in caves.
CROMAGNON MAN IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING MAN FOR HE IS ALREADY MAN. THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM MODERN EUROPEANS. THUS, CROMAGNON MAN CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY TREEHE IS ALREADY MAN!
PILTDOWN MAN : EANTHROPUS DAWSONI - DAWN MAN
A physician named Charles Dawson in 1912 discovered Piltdown Man in Piltdown, England. What Dr. Dawson discovered in a gravel pit was a manlike skullcap and an apelike jawbone. He is said to be some 500,000 years old and thus a missing link to man. Or is he?
About 41 years after this discovery, in 1953 scientists discovered that there was a big problem with the evidence. Both the jaw and skull were stained with iron salts to make them look old and the teeth were filed down to make them look human. This was originally discovered in 1916 but the evidence was concealed for some 40 years. In fact, it remained in textbooks for some 10 years after the fraud was exposed.
Listen to what Richard Leaky has to say in regards to the Piltdown hoax. He said, “The ‘fossil’, known as the Piltdown Man, appears to be the ideal ‘missing link’. Forty years and mountains of publications later, Piltdown Man was proved to be a forgery, the ingenious juxtaposition of a modernish human skull and the jaw of an orangutan . . . The Piltdown forgery illustrates the sometimes indecent eagerness with which scientists will accept what they want to believe. Researchers today are not exempt from this weakness, and it can be seen in all branches of science. However, because theories in archeology are often constructed from relatively little data, in that field the danger of over interpretation, and therefore, biased theories, is particularly acute.”
Piltdown Man was nothing more than man trying to prove his theory by falsifying the evidence. And Leaky was right when he spoke of a small amount of data carrying more information than is really there. It is man's biased assumptions that have clouded this area of science.
PILTDOWN MAN IS NOTHING MORE THAN A MODERN APE JAW BONE AND A HUMAN SKULL CAP THAT HAVE BEEN DOCTORED AND PUT TOGETHER. IT WAS A HOAX AND THUS MUST BE REMOVED FORM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
NEBRASKA MAN: HESPEROPITHEUS HAROLDCOOKII
Henry Fairfield Osborn, a well-known anthropologist, in a site in western Nebraska, discovered Nebraska Man in 1922. Osborn felt that he had found a creature that had the traits of a chimpanzee and man. The missing link, or is he?
What did Henry Osborn find? A tooth, that's all he found. And in the June 24, 1922 London News, Nebraska Man was drawn as a primitive cave man. In fact, his wife was even drawn with him. Now that is pretty good. From 1 tooth you get a male and a female apeman, hair and all! Imagine if they had found a set of teeth, you would get a whole village.
In fact, by 1925 Nebraska Man was used as evidence that man has evolved from lower forms of animals in the famous Scopes Monkey Trial. That trial was to forge the teaching of evolution in the American school system and Nebraska Man was part of the evidence that linked man to the apelike ancestors he came from.
Then in 1927 they found a tooth, a jaw, and a skeleton that belonged to Nebraska Man or should we say Nebraska Pig! What Henry Osborn had found was not the tooth of an apeman but the tooth of an extinct pig.
NEBRASKA MAN IS NOT ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING HUMAN. HE IS A PIG OR PECCARY. SO NEBRASKA MAN MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE EVOLUTIONARY CHARTS.
So there is no evidence for ape-men as we have seen. And yes, the evidence is out in the fossil record, the problem arises on how we interpret that evidence. A good example of this comes from Mary Leakey as she tried to interpret some footprints she found. We read, “ . . . Footprints found by Mary Leakey at Laetoli in East Africa. These are described in the National Geographic, April 1979, as being ‘tracks left by hominids that walked upright at least 3.6 million years ago.’ The tracks were found along with those of elephants, guinea fowl, giraffes, hares and ostriches. In this article, Mary Leaky makes some very revealing statements. On page 446 she said, ‘We have found hominid footprints that are remarkably similar to those of modern man.’
And on page 453, ‘The form of his foot was exactly the same as ours.’ In other words, she had found human footprints, exactly the same as could be made today, except that they were smaller than would be average today.”
It is interesting as you read this article that all the animals that are supposedly 3.6 million years old look like they do today and walk like they walk today. But when it comes to man, who had the same foot markings as he does today, he is made into an apelike creature.
We read, “Oddly or perhaps not so oddly given the geologic continuity of East Africa, we find the same type of wildlife in roughly the same proportions as exist
today . . . Countless hares have pocked the ash with their distinctive hopping pattern. Baboon prints lie in profusion; all we have found possess a narrow heel similar to those of smaller present day females.” This is what she has to say about the human footprints she found “ . . . the Laetoli hominid resembles the gracile Australopithecus.” And
“‘They looked so human, so modern, to be found in tuffs so old,’ says footprint expert Dr. Louis Robbins of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. The bestpreserved print shows the raised arch, rounded heel, pronounced ball, and forwardpointing big toe necessary for walking erect.”
To me, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then it is a duck. The same is true of these footprints. The footprints are shaped like modern man, they look like modern man, and he walked like modern man. This is not some apeman’s footprint but a man's. The problem they have with this is they say the footprints are 3.6 million years old, far too old to be fully human. In accordance with their own theory that these are Australopithecines then, as we said earlier, Australopithecus is not evolving to man. These are not Australopithicine footprints but the footprints of man.
The fossil record is where their theories are based. And yet we read “Still doubts about the secrets of man's emergence remain. Scientists concede that their most cherished theories are based on embarrassingly few fossil fragments and that huge gaps exist in the fossil record.”
There is little fossil evidence for their theories and yet they have made detailed charts showing us how it all happened. Also, it is not that we don't have many fossils; there have been over 100 million that have been cataloged in different museums around the world. So what is missing for the evolutionist? Transitional formsthere are none! Not one evolving from one creature to another.
David Raup, who was previously the curator of geology at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago and is now the professor of geology at the University of Chicago, is a strong advocate of the theory of evolution.
He said, “We now have a quarter of a million fossil species but the situation hasn't changed much. The record of evolution is still surprisingly jerky and, ironically, we have even fewer examples of evolutionary transition than we had in Darwin's time. By this I mean that some of the classic cases of Darwinian change in the fossil record, such as the evolution of the horse in North America, have had to be discarded or modified as a result of more detailed information what appeared to be a nice simple progression when relatively few data were available now appears to be much more complex and much less gradualistic. So Darwin's problem has not been alleviated.”
There is no evidence for transition from one species to another. And yet many hold on to that unsubstantiated theory. Entropy or the second law of thermodynamics says that things are slowing down, deteriorating. We are moving towards chaos and disorganization. Energy is running down. And yet the theory of evolution tells us that we are in an upward progression to greater and greater complexity. We are evolving from simple, chaotic forms, upward to greater and greater complexity. This goes completely against the second law of thermodynamics and what is happening to my body!
Let me share with you quickly how unique our planet is, placed in such a way with just the right stuff you might say, to sustain life. And this did not happen by random chance, it was by the hand of God who created us. Scott Huse gives us these facts:
1. The earth is positioned at just the right distance from the sun so that we receive exactly the proper amount of heat to support life. The other planets of our solar system are either too close to the sun (too hot) or else too far (too cold) to sustain life.
2. Any appreciable change in the rate of rotation of the earth would make life impossible. For example, if the earth were to rotate at 1/10th its present rate, all plant life would either be burned to a crisp during the day or frozen at night.
3. Temperature variations are kept within reasonable limits due to the nearly circular orbit of the earth around the sun.
4. Temperature extremes are further moderated by the water vapor and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which produce a greenhouse effect.
5. The moon revolves around the earth at a distance of about 240,000 miles causing harmless tides on the earth. If the moon were located 1/5th of this distance away, the continents would be completely submerged twice a day!
6. The thickness of the earth’s crust and the depth of the oceans appear to be carefully designed. Increases in thickness or depth of only a few feet would so drastically alter the absorption of free oxygen and carbon dioxide that plant and animal life could not exist.
7. The earth’s axis is tilted 23½ degrees from the perpendicular to the plane of its orbit. This tilting, combined with the earth’s revolution around the sun, causes our seasons, which are absolutely essential for the raising of food supplies.
8. The earth’s atmosphere (ozone layer) serves as a protective shield from lethal solar ultraviolet radiation, which would otherwise destroy all life.
9. The earth’s atmosphere also serves to protect the earth from approximately 20 million meteors that enter it each day at speeds of about 30 miles per second! Without this crucial protection the danger to life would be immense.
10. The earth is the perfect physical size and mass to support life, affording a careful balance between gravitational forces (essential for holding water and an atmosphere) and atmospheric pressure.
11. The two primary constituents of the earth’s atmosphere are nitrogen (78 percent) and oxygen (20 percent). This delicate and critical ratio is essential to all life forms.
12. The earth’s magnetic field provides important protection from harmful comic radiation.
13. The earth is uniquely blessed with a bountiful supply of water which is the key substance of life due to its remarkable and essential physical properties.

And folks, there is so much more we can talk about showing that God did create the heavens and the earth in six literal days and not millions of years ago, but some 6 to 10 thousand years ago! And yes, there is horizontal evolution within a species, but not vertical evolution, from one species into another. Life is so complex and for it to happen by pure chance, that takes a lot of faith, it is not science! Let me close with this from Sir Fred Hoyle. He wrote:
Once we see, however, that the probability of life originating at random is so utterly minuscule as to make the random concept absurd, it becomes sensible to think that the favorable properties of physics on which life depends are in every respect deliberate.”
“It is therefore almost inevitable that our own measure of intelligence must reflect in a valid way the higher intelligences to our left, even to the extreme idealized limit of God.”

As we have seen, the unrighteous heathen are condemned by nature because nature itself testifies that there is a Creator, there is a Designer, there is a God. Thus, they are without excuse because the evidence is overwhelming. In fact, they end up worshiping creation instead of the Creator! And thus, to reject God they have to suppress the truth and folks, it is the reason that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, it is against all unrighteousness of men. May you know the truth and receive the truth into your life. Because the righteousness of God is also revealed from heaven and that is in the person and work of Jesus Christ! Apart from Christ you are condemned but in Christ you have His righteousness imputed into your life by faith. Won’t you receive it? You see, the evidence is overwhelming that there is a God, nature testifies to that fact!

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
