Welcome to the Family of God!

We are assured in the bible that ". . . as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." So once again welcome to the family of God!

This guide is designed to help you realize how much God loves you and the blessings and privileges that are yours as a child of God. If the richest man in the world decided to adopt you as his son or daughter, you would automatically receive many privileges and blessings just by becoming a member of his family. You would become a millionaire without lifting a finger. In Ephesians 1:5 God says, "having predestined us to adoption as sons of Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will." You see, God has adopted you into His family. And likewise, as a child of God you have automatically received
many blessings and privileges just by becoming a member of His family. We are told in Ephesians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." As a child of God you are spiritually rich and as you read the Word of God you will see those spiritual blessings that God has given to you as His child.

It is our desire here at Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc, Wisconsin that you as a child of God, would continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This growth is obtained as you study the Word of God and apply those lessons that He is teaching you to your life. Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes be hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." And Jesus said in John 15:3, "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you." God is increasing your faith and making you more like Him as you study the Word of God.
